Good oil. Nothing else.
We make extra virgin olive oil from family groves in Mani, Greece.
Small scale. Properly grown. Zero nonsense.
Our olive oil really is something else.
How It Started
Auntie Aphrodite cared for these groves for decades.
No chemicals. No shortcuts. Just instinct, experience and a stubborn streak.
She passed the land on to Nikos before she passed away, so the trees would stay in the family and be looked after properly.
He has kept everything grounded in the same principles:
• Respect the land
• Don’t mess with the fruit
• Keep quality first, even when it costs more
It works.
Why We Started
This isn’t a big corporate project. It’s a family one.
As Nikos and my mum keep the groves going every season, I wanted to make sure their hard work actually pays off — now and as they get older.
Selling our oil ourselves means we keep the value in the family and the village, not lost to middlemen.
If this gives everyone a better quality of life, that’s a win.
Good oil should be good for the people who make it too.
Bringing Groves Back to Life
Greece has thousands of olive trees left abandoned. Families moved away, land forgotten.
We take over these neglected groves and bring them back with:
• Organic farming practices
• Soil regeneration (healthy soil = better flavour)
• Zero synthetic fertilisers or pesticides
It’s slower.
It’s harder.
It’s worth it.
Keeping It Local and Fair
Our oil isn’t made by a factory. It’s made by people.
We pay local farmers properly, above market rate when demand rises.
Good work should be rewarded. End of story.
Every bottle supports the community keeping these groves alive.
The Name
We began as To Káti Állo — Greek for “Something Else.”
We now say it in English.
Same meaning. Same values. Same oil.
The only thing that’s changed is the label.
(And even that’s deliberately simple.)
What You Get
Early harvest, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Bottled quickly to keep the flavour sharp.
Just proper olive oil.
Why We Do It
To prove that good food doesn’t need fancy branding.
It just needs people who care and trees that are treated well.
Made with the pride Auntie Aphrodite taught us.
