Koroneiki Olives: The Variety Behind Our Oil

Koroneiki is one of Greece’s best-known olive varieties for oil production. The olives are small, but they can produce intensely aromatic extra virgin olive oil.

How Koroneiki oil tastes

Depending on harvest timing and growing conditions, Koroneiki oils can show green fruit, grass, herbs, bitterness and pepperiness.

Those flavours change from harvest to harvest. Olive oil is an agricultural product, not a factory formula.

Why it works in Mani

Our oil comes from Mani in the southern Peloponnese, where Koroneiki has been grown for generations. The local landscape, dry climate, elevation and harvest timing all influence the finished oil.

Small olive, serious oil

Koroneiki is valued for oil quality rather than fruit size. For us, it is simply the variety that belongs where we grow and source.
